School organized DAV Career Conclave with the aim of providing career options and courses to students of classes X-XII.  Representatives from 40 reputed universities, both from India and abroad participated in the event. The event was a great success as it had a footfall of more than 1400 students from the school and reputed institutions of the city and the region.

Various stalls were set up with informative displays and exhibits related to courses available, opportunities in technical, higher education, vocational, and skills sectors.

The goal of disseminating information and creating awareness among students about various opportunities available in the field of education and employment was successfully achieved.
The  enthusiasm of the students while going through the venue of the Conclave and interacting with the representatives from various universities was evident from their eagerness and the queries they raised.
The collaborators were delighted on being part of this initiative of the school. Ms.Samriti Khosla(Associate Professor from DAV University , Jalandhar) was full of praise for the students of the school who put forth their queries and listened patiently to the experts available at the stalls.Mr.Sumit Malik from Chandigarh University described his overall experience to be wonderful.He added that such endeavours of the school provide a great platform to the students and help them to select the courses that would ensure a great future for them in the times to come.
Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu mentioned that the Career Conclave is an attempt to provide a platform for students to explore various career options to make informed decisions about course of studies and career. She advised them to dream beyond the obvious, encouraging them not only to opt for conventional career choices but also to explore other avenues based on their interests, aspirations and abilities. She further said that in future career conclave will be made a regular feature of the school calendar and will be organised to help students  make timely decisions about their studies and career.
