Recognizing Fashion as dynamic force that drives international trends, CBSE has introduced Fashion Studies as an elective Academic subject for classes XI and XII. The Fashion studies lab offers insight into components of process of designing, manufacturing and marketing of apparels and textiles. Understanding design fundamentals and turning an in-vogue concept into a garment not only improves the sartorial choice of students but also enhances their creativity. Fashion, being a global business with high financial stakes demands out-of-the-box thinkers who are capable of catapulting India on to the center stage on the Global fashion map. Preparing students for this role, precisely is the aim of having this lab in the school.
