An awareness session on ‘How to open a Saving Account’ was organised in collaboration with Punjab National Bank for the students of Commerce Stream. Mr. Amit Kumar (Manager) and Ms. Shifali Goyal (Officer) were the key note speakers of the day. The speakers told the students about the benefits of having a bank account which is fundamental for meeting the goals of financial independence and stability. Not only that it also helps to gain access to funds under different government schemes. Savings accounts of the students were also opened. It was an enriching session.
