To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated in our school with mirth and joy.
Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.
The tiny tots of the school who donned the roles of Lord Krishna and Gopikas, looked gorgeous in their brightly–coloured attires. Students danced to the tunes of devotional songs and recited bhajans. The spirit of festivity was enhanced with Tableau depicting the life history of Lord Krishna.
A special assembly was arranged where the students were told about the significance of the day through speeches and poems.
Principal Mrs. J. K. Sidhu applauded the efforts of the students and said that such occasions bring people together and signify unity and faith.
