School hosts 2nd Ramanujan Maths Fest - 2019

Mathematics is the core subject of all fields of study and for Indians Ramanujan is the greatest Mathematician of all the times.
Today school organised 2nd Ramanujan Fest, 2019 where seven schools of Ludhiana (Punjab Zone - F) participated in PPT Making, Model Making, Quiz and Cube competitions.
All the teams gave their best, competing with each other vying for the top slots. Mrs. Gursharan Kaur from GNIPS was the judge for Model Making Competition whereas Mrs. Sarabjeet Kaur from Arya College was the Judge for PPT Competition.
The judges were spell bound at the creativity and imagination of participants in explaining the complex mathematical concepts in the simplest manner to help everyone understand the concepts easily. The judges had a tough time in deciding the winners. Result of various competitions is as under:

Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu appreciated the hard work and thought process put in by students under the able guidance of the teachers. She gave away the prizes to the winners and highlighted the importance of such competitions that inculcates love for the subject.
