Annual Sporting Extravaganza for classes Pre-KG to VII started at school today. C.A. Mr. Ravikant Gupta, Member LMC of the school was the Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony.
The function started with the unfurling of the school flag followed by March Past by the School Council and the students of second class. Colourful Surya Namaskar by the young yogis of the school and aerobics exercises stole the hearts of the audience. Gujarati folk dance was the icing on the cake.
The chief guest in his addresses highlighted the significance of games and sports in life and appreciated the endeavour of the school in inculcating sportsmanship from the young age. After this he declared the meet open. The students of classes first and second enthusiastically participated in three legged race, caps and goggles race and relay race etc. while the parents participated in flat race and couple race. It was a feast for the eyes to see the children and parents competing in true spirit.
The school management thanked the parents for their support and appreciated their zeal to make it to the school event braving the chill to motivate the students and teachers alike.
