DAV BRS Nagar as a lead school of Hub of Learning organised Capacity Building Programme in the subjects of Mathematics and Social Science for the teachers of the partner schools where 24 delegates attended the programme. The Resource Persons of the programme were Mrs.Shabina Sehgal (Mathematics) and Mrs. Kavita Anand (Social Science) from the host school.

The resource persons apprised the delegates about the changes in the curriculum of classes IX and X and gave vital tips on integrating art in day to day teaching. Maths lab activities performed during the workshop made the delegates realize the importance of learning by doing and significance of 3-D models for in depth understanding of the concepts. In Social Science workshop valuable tips were given for map work and learning with ease important dates and figures apart from this Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) were discussed in detail and significance of the use of these in assignments was discussed.

The delegates utilised the platform to share classroom problems and techniques for effective transaction of curriculum.

Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu thanked the Principals of the partner schools for sending the delegates for shared learning and assured that collaborative attempts put in by all the members would facilitate the classroom teaching and improve results.
