Gratitude is the greatest virtue to be cultivated in any individual and if the lessons are learnt at any early stage then this becomes a habit. The support staff of DAV Public School came with a greater zeal and vigour as it was a special day for them as they were the special invitees of the Thanks Giving Ceremony. 
Smooth functioning of an institution depends on the agility and devotion to work of the support staff who generally are behind the scene but contribute in great measure. The function started with the address of the Principal who appreciated the unceasing efforts put in by the support staff irrespective of their age or time. It is their readiness to serve right from the tiny tots to the highest authority that they are lovingly addressed as aunts and uncles. The students of UKG presented a colourful cultural programme to entertain them and there were special games organized for them in which they competed with each other while enjoying to the fullest. The support-staff felt special and vowed to continue serving the institution zealously and be good custodians of the children who come to them and be at the beck and the call of the authorities. Monsoon delicacies: kheer ,malpuras and pakoras were served to them as refreshment from the school side and they were honoured with a token of acknowledgement for their selfless service.
Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu while lauding the sincere and untiring services put in by the support staff expressed thanks to them on behalf of the management, staff and her own. She also felt that nobody can ever pay them for their services.
