Graduation Day Ceremony commemorates the precious moments of the students and offers an opportunity to celebrate the successful culmination of one phase of their student life and beginning of new experiences to come.

Keeping this in mind, school organized the Graduation Ceremony for the students of Class V. Mr. Rohit Mehra, IRS, Addl Commissioner, Income Tax, Ludhiana graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony followed by an invocation to God through a melodious Sufi rendition by the students. There after a fine blend of musical ensemble, rhythmic dances and thought provoking skits enthralled the audience. A choreography on the condition of Mother Earth in the bygone days and today compelled the audience to put on their thinking caps and do their bit in saving the existing resources. Students are the sentinels of change and this was beautifully portrayed through the song ‘We are the World….’

A short skit highlighting society’s role and DAV BRS Nagar’s efforts in making this world a better place to live in, evoked a thunderous applause from the audience. The program ended with a pledge by young DAVians for saving the Mother Earth. Finally the exuberant students smartly attired in their gowns received their citations of promotion along with trophies in recognition of their achievements in curricular and co-curricular fields from the hands of the distinguished chief guest.

The chief guest congratulated the students on this momentous occasion and exhorted them to dream big and scale great heights.
