Students of classes III-VII were abuzz with lot of activities today. In the zero period, traditional games of India, China and U.K were played. The teachers gave information about the origin of the games and the students had brought charts to share the history of the games and their rules. Different classes got the chance to play games like ‘Stapu, Skipping, Ludo, Marbles, Chess, Tangrams, Yoyo, Hop Scotch, Tic Tac Toe, Chinese checkers etc. The students enjoyed the tug of war amidst loud cheering for their respective teams.
Principal of the school, Mrs. J.K.Sidhu said that such activities help a child to remain abreast about the games and sports played in different countries and it also adds to their play world.
