Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – Annual Function of Pre-Primary wing organised by D.A.V. Public School BRS Nagar Ludhiana was remarkable portrayal of the feelings of oneness and universal brotherhood. The children of KG class enthralled the audience with their scintillating performances on 8-12-2017 in the school auditorium.

 

Dr. (Mrs.) Satwant Kaur Bhullar – Principal D.A.V Public School Pakhowal road Ludhiana and Dr. (Mrs.) Anu Verma – Principal of Police DAV Public School Civil Lines Ludhiana graced the function as Chief Guest in the morning and evening respectively.

 

The programme started with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony and a formal welcome of the Chief Guests and  the guests. The children highlighted the message of peace and harmony through  ‘Prem se hum ko jeene do’. The message of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' was truly and effectively conveyed through breath taking items like 'Mile Sur Mera Tumhara', 'Sara Jahan Ek Parivar' and 'Choreography' which won a great applause from the audience. Chinese, Spanish, Tribal, Japanese and 'Bharat Natyam' dances presented by the tiny-tots stole the hearts of the audience. 'Choreography' on Save Environment put up by the students for creating awareness for preservation of flora and fauna was a feast for the eyes. The little ones displayed grace and skill in executing well co-ordinated moves while performing Aerobic exercises. The audience remained glued to the seats till the end and appreciated the efforts put in by the teachers and the students to put up a wonderful show.

 

The chief guests lauded the performance of the tiny-tots and said that such events provide much needed exposure and give confidence to the children while preparing them for the journey of life.

 

Principal Mrs. J. K. Sidhu thanked the guests of the day and the parents who had spared their valuable time to see their wards perform and to movtivate them. She also appreciated the hard work put in by the teachers to prepare the students for meaningful items meeting the needs of the time.
