Catering to the curious minds, a science fair 2022 was organised at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa college, Civil lines, Ludhiana on 14th October in which the students of our school participated with great enthusiasm. The Fair witnessed the display of a plethora of scientific events and models related to different branches of science. Visual presentations were put up to help everyone understand the concepts of working and non working models.
The students seemed to match the famous quote by Rosalind Franklin, “Science and everyday life cannot and should not be separated”.
The students bagged the following prizes at the fair:
1) First prize in Static Model: Gravitational Waves Laser Interferometer by Gaurang Jindal and Pankhuri Tandon
2) First prize in Photography: Ranit Sareen
3) First prize in slogan writing: Jessica Kaur Rai.
4) First prize in poster presentation: Pulkit Kapoor
5) Third Prize in Sudoku: Krish Gupta.
Overall Winners Trophy was bagged by the school.
Principal Mrs. J. K. Sidhu, lauding the efforts of the students said that such exhibitions and events are of utmost necessity for the students as they get to explore their full potential and also get a stage to present their innovative ideas.
