Feeding the hungry is the best service to God and humanity. Little gestures by one and all can go a long way in alleviating the pain and suffering of the destitute. To inculcate the feelings of love, compassion and empathy in young children, our school is running a program 'Ek Mutthi Anaaj' for the last many years with the purpose of helping the orphans and destitute of the society. To carry forward the same tradition, Sarwasav Tyagi Mahatma Hansraj Club of the school organised a charity campaign in which students of classes 6th to 8th and their parents donated generously the items of daily use, groceries, stationery items, woollen clothes etc. The donation was sent to
1. Red Cross Society, Bal Bhavan, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana
2. Nishkaam Seva Aashram (old age home near village Daad).
3. Divyang Kendra (Deaf and Dumb School, Ludhiana)
Principal Mrs. J.K.Sidhu thanked the parents for their contributions that would be used for the needy. She also thanked them for their whole hearted cooperation in all school programs.
