'Being generous is being human'.
Keeping the essence of this in mind, Sarvasva Tyagi Mahatma Hansraj Club of the school organised a charity campaign in collaboration with an NGO 'City Needs' to celebrate 'Daan Utsav - 2022'. The students of classes I to V and their parents donated generously the items of day to day needs such as educational toys, bicycles, kitchenware, uniforms, grocery items, blankets, sports goods, stationery items and woollen clothes etc. The donation was handed over to office bearers of 'City Needs' and the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation to further disseminate the same among the needy.
This initiative on the part of the school was intended to develop human values in the youngsters so that they turn out to be empathetic citizens of the society.
The Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu appreciated the overwhelming response of the students and their parents, and hoped that the school will continue to get their support in such endeavours in future as well.
