DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana, inaugurated DAV Sports 2025, Cluster Level Tournament on August 11, 2025, uniting 280 participants from U-14, U-17, and U-19 categories of both boys and girls.The two-day sporting spectacle, themed “Empowering DAVians”, brought together talented athletes from U-14, U-17, and U-19 categories for both boys and girls, featuring a thrilling line-up of Volleyball, Handball and Yoga.
With the consistent efforts of the DAV Management, DAV Sports have been recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Keeping with the vision of holistic development, games and sports have been made an integral part of the annual calendar of 900 DAV institutions across the country.
The event brought together teams from various DAV institutions of PB Zone F, each vying for top honours in a spirit of camaraderie and fair play.
Dr. Rajveer Singh Kang, Principal of DAV Kotkapura, attended as the observer for the tournament. He interacted warmly with the participants, encouraged them to give their best, and appreciated the arrangements, discipline, and enthusiastic participation that marked the day.
The opening day witnessed spirited contests in Volleyball, Handball and Yoga. The atmosphere was charged with energy as students displayed grit, discipline, leadership, and teamwork, turning the day into a vibrant celebration of sporting spirit.
