Three days DAV Sports State Level Tournaments concluded at DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, with a remarkable display of resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event, which featured over 650 participants from DAV schools across Punjab, showcased dynamic talent in 5 major sports like Chess, Kho-Kho, Handball, Rope Skipping, and Volleyball.
Organized under the DAV Management's efforts to integrate sports into the holistic development of students, the event reflected the recognition of DAV sports by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. This tournament, part of the annual sports calendar across 900 DAV schools, emphasized the importance of physical fitness and leadership in shaping well-rounded individuals.
Mr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, Principal of DAV Public School, Badshahpur, attended as the distinguished observer for the events of the final day, ensuring fair play and highlighting the collaborative spirit of the DAV fraternity.
The participants exhibited great enthusiasm, grit, and patience, embodying the core values of sportsmanship.
The final day saw exceptional performances, with students competing fiercely for top honours in Kho-Kho.
