DAV SPORTS - 2024 (DAY 1)

DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana, was filled with joy and enthusiasm as it played host to the prestigious State Level DAV Sports Tournaments scheduled from 29th September to 1st October 2024. With the efforts of DAV Management, DAV sports have been recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Keeping the holistic development of students in mind, the games and sports have been made an integral part of the annual calendar of the 900 schools under DAV flagship.
The tournament was inaugurated by Principal cum State Coordinator DAV Sports, Mrs. J.K. Sidhu, who symbolized the vibrant aspirations of the participants with a balloon release. The event saw a dynamic display of talent across several sports, including Kho-Kho, Rope Skipping, Chess, Volleyball, and Handball, with over 650 participants from DAV schools across Punjab.
Mr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Principal of DAV Public School, Samana, served as a distinguished observer of the event to ensure fairn play and judgement. His presence further emphasized the collaborative spirit of the DAV fraternity and the significance of the event.
The students displayed exceptional sportsmanship, competing fiercely while acknowledging their opponents with smiles and respect. The spirit of unity and resilience was palpable throughout the event.
