Explorica 2.0- Online Interschool Science & Technology Exposition

DAV BRS Nagar organized Explorica 2.0- Online Interschool Science & Technology Exposition. The event comprised of online competitions for young students with scientific temperament to explore possibilities with Science and Technology to achieve SDG 3- Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4- Quality Education and SDG 13- Climate Change. Dr. R. K. Seth, Dean (science and engineering) DAV University, Jalandhar, was the chief guest at Valedictory Ceremony.
Explorica comprised of eight events: Rhyme with Science, Quizophile, Idea that Inspire, A.I. Make -a-Thon, Digital Poster, Junk to Joy, Tinker to Innovate and Scien-Legends. 251 students from different school participated in the event. The students gave a tough competition to each other vying for the top slots.
Dr. Seth in his address acknowledged the efforts of the students and appreciated the zeal with which they participated. He emphasized on artificial intelligence and advanced research on life beyond earth. He also added that such kind of competitions help to produce future scientists.
Principal Mrs. J. K. Sidhu thanked the chief guest and all the judges for their valuable contribution. She congratulated the winners of various events and appreciated the quality of work done by the students. She motivated the students to participate in such events to unleash their potential and explore the wonders of amazing science.
