'No Bag Day' for classes III to VI

The campus reverberated with joy and laughter as No Bag Day was observed for the students of Class VI. A plethora of co-curricular activities were organized to engage children productively and involve them in practical and experiential learning. Students participated in fun filled activities like Show and Tell, TV Ad Show, Antakshari, Mono Acting, Talent Hunt, Vocabulary building Activity, Puzzles, Board games, Art and Craft and Dance to name a few. The purpose was to involve the students in activities beyond their textbooks. happy and joyful classrooms with great learning experiences.
Indigenous games of Punjab and Orissa like Kho-Kho, Hop -Scotch, Rope Skipping and ‘Geete’ played by the students made them experience the games of Punjab and the partner state to find out similarities in culture of the two states.
All these activities were arranged for the students with the purpose of bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, while exposing students to various skills of head, hand and heart. All in all it was a special funfilled day which allowed the students to unwind and tap their creative side.
Principal Mrs. J. K. Sidhu said that it will help to unleash another dimension of the students’ personality and divert their energy to diverse genre.
