Teej Celebration for III, IV, VII and VIII classes

The festival of Teej was celebrated by students of Classes III, IV, VII and VIII with great joy and enthusiasm in the school campus. Teej festival is the most popular festival of Saawan month in Punjab region. This festival is celebrated to mark the bounty of nature, arrival of rain and greenery.
An array of fun filled activities were planned for the students. Clad in traditional Punjabi attire, children danced to the tunes of traditional Punjabi songs and enthralled everyone with their captivating performances. The event is organised every year with the aim to educate the students about the cultural significance of the festival. Children relished traditional food like Kheer and malpuras.
Competition of Mehndi application and Paranda Braiding were also organised for girls. The results of the competition are as follows:
