4th Daan Utsav

School celebrated the 4th Daan Utsav (Joy of Giving Week) 🎁 from October 3 to 8 by organising the 11th edition of its flagship initiative — 'Ek Mutthi Anaaj' 🍚 under the Sarvasva Tyagi Mahatma Hansraj Club, in collaboration with NGO City Needs 🤝.
Students of Class IX 🎓 led the drive, collecting groceries 🥫 and essential supplies 🧴 from the school community and distributing them at City Needs Daan Utsav (Indoor Stadium, Pakhowal Road), Red Cross Bal Bhawan, Sarabha Nagar, and Arya Anathalaya, Ferozepur Road. 🏠
The donations included groceries 🥦, stationery ✏️, and special Diwali sweets 🍬, which were extended to underprivileged children 👧🧒, spreading warmth, care, and joy. 💖 The young volunteers not only contributed resources but also engaged in heartfelt interactions 💬, bringing smiles 😊 and a sense of belonging 🤗 to the beneficiaries.
The initiative was aimed at promoting ‘Food Security for All (SDG 2) 🌾’. The school continues to encourage its students to embrace such philanthropic efforts 🙌, reinforcing the belief that true leadership lies in service to others 💫 and in making a meaningful difference in the lives of the underprivileged. ❤️
