School hosted the 'Rainbow Rhythms' Graduation Ceremony for Grade II students with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Puneet A. Pooni, HOD, Pediatrics, Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana, along with Guest of Honour Dr. Milan Verma, Vice President IMA, Ludhiana, and Director, Verma Multispeciality Hospital, and Special Guest Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Consultant Neonatologist, Garg Hospital & Child Care Centre, Jagraon. CA Ravi Kant Gupta, an esteemed member of LMC of the school also graced the occasion with his presence.
The celebration commenced with a floral welcome of the esteemed guests, followed by the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of early education and commitment of the school to holistic development. She also shared the achievements of the record holders and exceptional achievers, emphasizing the school's dedication to nurture young talents.
The Graduation Ceremony for all sections of Grade II saw 332 young graduates proudly walking the stage, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. Dressed in elegant graduation robes, the little graduates beamed with pride as they received their trophies along with their results. The Guest of Honour, Dr. Milan Verma, an alumnus of the school, while sharing incidents from his own life encouraged the parents to accept failures. He laid stress on the fact that failures prepare an individual for greater success.Dr. Gaurav, an alumnus of the school in his address gave credit of his success to the school that gave him the value system to succeed in life. He asked the parents to teach the children to respect everything as respect helps a child stay grounded while achieving many a milestones.Dr. Pooni laid stress on ensuring health and happiness of the children. She in her address exhorted the parents to give enough time to their children and to find and nurture the passion of their children.
The event was adorned with a variety of cultural performances. It began with a powerful 'Tandav' performance, portraying the cosmic dance of Lord Shiva. A melodious welcome song set the tone for the celebration, followed by a tribute to industrialist Mr. Ratan Tata, showcasing his resilience and achievements. The students presented a ‘Chronicle’—a captivating storytelling session, taking the audience through an emotional journey. The vibrance of Rajasthani folk dance, featuring Atithi Devo Bhava, Kathputli dance, and Kalbelia, mesmerized the audience.
Environmental awareness was highlighted through a thought-provoking act on air and water pollution that urged for collective responsibility toward nature and doing everything possible to save the environment. The enchanting English play, Beauty and the Beast, brought fairy tales to life, sparking creativity and imagination. The spirit of patriotism shone through a choreographed tribute to the Indian Army, portraying the bravery and discipline of soldiers and their role in safeguarding the nation. The event reached a grand conclusion with a lively Bhangra performance, filling the venue with the pulsating beats of Punjab’s traditional folk dance.
Mrs. Seema Sharma, HOD Class II, expressed gratitude to the esteemed guests, teachers, parents, and students for making the event a resounding success.
