Republic Day and Basant Panchami Celebrations

DAV Public School BRS Nagar Ludhiana celebrated Republic Day - and Basant Panchami with great zeal and spirit in the school premises. The building was tastefully decorated with pictures of freedom fighters and national flags. Worthy Supervisor of KG Wing Mrs. R. Chawla unfurled the National Flag amidst loud cheers. The students saluted the flag and pledged to uphold its honour and integrity.
Patriotic songs were sung in chorus followed by stirring speeches by the school teachers. School reverberated with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm.
The KG Wing of the school celebrated Basant Panchami known as the day of Goddess Saraswati - the deity of wisdom and knowledge. The tiny tots came attired in all the shades and hues of yellow colour - a symbol of peace, prosperity and energy. The students were apprised with the significance of day through power point presentation. They made beautiful craft items and relished sweet yellow rice. It was a memorable day for one and all.
