Two Days Capacity Building Programme Concludes

A Two-Days Capacity Building Programme conducted by Regional Training Centre PB Zone (F) under the aegis of DAV CAE, New Delhi concluded today at DAV BRS Nagar, Ludhiana. The CBP was for teachers of Primary, Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary levels in various subjects like English, History, Maths, Physics, Biology, Accounts, Business Studies and Political Science. 125 teachers of eight different schools of Jagraon, Nawanshahar, Jaito, Kotkapura, Khanna and Ludhiana were the attendees. Principals of various schools of PB Zone (F) were the observers for the same.
In the workshop, teachers learnt the latest methods of teaching which they can adopt for smooth transaction of knowledge. The resource persons apprised the delegates about the latest changes in curriculum and gave vital tips on integrating art in day to day teaching. Besides, sessions on framing of question papers on the basis of blue prints provided by CBSE, making effective lesson plans and framing competency-based assignments were also held. The programme saw an active participation of all the delegates through a plethora of activities like role plays, storytelling sessions, group discussions etc.
School Principal and ARO of PB Zone F, Mrs. J.K. Sidhu while expressing her gratitude to all the principals and the Master Trainers involved in the workshop added that the learning and take away points from the programme will be incorporated in their respective classes and hoped that the collaborative attempts put in by all the members would facilitate the classroom teaching.
