Virtual Celebration of Season 4 of 'Ramanujan Maths Fest - 2021'

22nd December is observed as birth anniversary of legendary Indian Mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan. The main objective behind the celebration is to raise awareness among students about the importance of mathematics in our day to day lives.
Keeping this in mind, DAV BRS Nagar, organised 'Ramanujan Fest' today for the fourth consecutive year in which eighteen schools of the city participated in different competitions like PPT making, model making, story telling, role play, quiz and cube competitions. The zest and the enthusiasm of the students was worth noting and the judges had a tough time in giving the final verdict. They were highly impressed with the creativity and imagination of participants in explaining the complex mathematical concepts in the simplest manner.
Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students for the success of this event. While congratulating the winners in her address, she reiterated that such events go a long way in creating interest in the subject and inculcate a positive attitude in the youngsters towards learning mathematics.
