Jasmeek proves her Mettle at National Level

Jasmeek Kaur Sekhon of class XI Humanities made school proud by winning Gold medal in National Track Cycling Championship- 2021 held at Jaipur, Rajasthan in under 18 category from 24th to 28th December. In all, 24 participants from different states took part in the competition. Jasmeek in individual pursuit covered 2 kms. in just 2m 43sec. and set the record for first position.
In another, National level event organised by Cycling Federation of India (CFI),Jasmeek bagged Gold medal in 20 kms. point race(U 18) category. On reaching school, Jasmeek was welcomed with a rousing reception and a bouquet from Madam Principal. Jasmeek started participating in cycling competitions in February 2021 only. She gives credit of her achievement to her brother, Harshveer Sekhon who keeps inspiring and motivating her to focus and work hard to accomplish her target. She also owes alot to her parents and especially to the school principal and teachers for extending every kind of help and support .
Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu congratulated Jasmeek and her parents at her remarkable achievement and wished her to continue with her winning spree in future.
