Gratitude is taking a moment to reflect on how fortunate and blessed we are while being grateful to the people around us and being thankful for the things we have. The 2nd day’s celebrations began with the lamp lighting and recitation of Gayatri Mantras. Students were shown videos depicting the acts of gratitude. The most laudable part of this endeavour was the western, tribal and patriotic dance performances by UKG students. The program ended with a vote of thanks followed by singing of National Anthem.
Principal J.K. Sidhu appreciated the efforts of the students and the teachers. She congratulated their grandparents on the successful completion of day two of Gratitude Program and asked them to share their experiences with the tiny tots to enrich their lives. She also highlighted the importance of conserving our environment and coaxed each one to segregate the waste. Last but not the least she impressed upon the parents to plant a sapling on their child's birthday and entrust them with the responsibility of nurturing the same.
