Republic Day Celebration by Class I students

India won freedom on the 15th August, 1947 and became a republic on 26th January, 1950.The new constitution of free India came in to force with effect from this day. It is a day of national rejoicing and a red-letter day in our country. The day is celebrated with pomp and show, zeal and spirit, throughout the length and breadth of the country.
Students of class-I also celebrated the day with great eclat.They made tricolor National flag with the help of grains and wrote patriotic slogans with the help of their teachers and parents. The students were told the history and significance of Republic Day. All the teachers and students took a pledge to uphold the honour, integrity, dignity and uniqueness of our nation.
