In order to inculcate the feeling of compassion, kindness, empathy and service to the society in the young minds, the school involved the students of different age groups in the project ‘ Ek Muthi Anaj’ believing that with a contribution of a handful of grain, we can feed the world.
The students of classes KG to XII made collection of food grains, pulses, wheat flour, sugar, jaggery etc. while at home and contributed the same to the needy people in their surroundings. Their contributions were also sent to old age home at village Daad, Nirdosh school at Sarabha Nagar, Deaf and Dumb school, Gau Shala etc. This gesture which reflects a mindful and conscious act of thinking about somebody else’s need before your own, is surely capable of changing the entire mankind and this earth into a utopia.
