School hosts Inter-School Vedic Declamation Contest - 2020

Ved Prachar Mandal organised Inter-School Vedic Declamation Contest under the patronage of Mr. Roshan Lal Ji Arya, Regional Secretary, Ved Prachar Mandal. The program began with a lamp lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest Ms.Abha Singh, Commissioner Income Tax Department (Appeal), Dr. Pawan Singla, Mr. Praveen Dang, Mr.Gaurav Arora, Mrs. Shalini Gupta and other distinguished guests. Ms.Seema Batra, Ms.Shipra Bajaj, Ms. Bhawna Dikshit took out the draw for participants whereas Mr. Sunil Kakkar, Mr. Praveen Mehra, Ms. Raashi Aggarwal gave the badges to the participants.
Students from various schools expressed their views on different topics like ‘Teachings of Swami Dayanand’, ‘Role of Arya Samaj’ in freedom struggle, ‘Parmatma Ka Nij Naam OM’, ‘Drug Free Society’ etc. Dr. Kamini Sahir, Professor Sarojini Saidan and Professor Surinder Kaur were the judges of the competition. The Chief Guest Mr. Harish Rai Dhanda lauded the efforts of the students and added that such competitions help in promoting moral values amongst them while honing the oratory skills.

Principal Mrs. Manju Sahni who had presided over the event appreciated the efforts of one and all associated with Ved Prachar Mandal in taking such initiatives to create awareness amongst the youngsters regarding eradication of social evils in the society.
Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu thanked all the distinguished guests and added that such initiatives help in inculcating Vedic values and motivating them to follow the Vedic way of life amongst the youngsters.
