Two Days Capacity Building Programme (EEDP I to XII) All subjects

The teacher is a lifelong learner. The teaching fraternity has to keep abreast with the ever changing technology and mindset of students. Keeping this in view, on 7th and 8th January, 2020, a Two Days Capacity Building Programme was organised by School,under the aegis of DAV Center of Academic Excellence. It was attended by around 180 teachers of 10 DAV institutions of Punjab Zone - F in the subjects of EEDP I, Art & Craft, Mathematics (All Levels), Science (All Levels), Physics (XI-XII), Biology (XI-XII), History (XI-XII) and ICT (XI-XII) which catered to Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary levels. The workshop started with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony followed by DAV Gaan.
The subject experts for the workshop were from the host school, DAV Public School Pakhowal Road Ludhiana, Police DAV Public School Ludhiana, DAV Public School Nawanshahr & DAV Public School Bathinda. They discussed in detail about various competitive exams, question paper pattern, common mistakes made by the students and also nuances of question paper. They also stressed upon the fact that in the present times there is a need to follow the latest educational techniques in the classroom. The tools and techniques to assess the students’ performance were also discussed. To involve the teacher participants in the workshop, many activities were conducted. All the queries of the delegates were attended to.
The workshop culminated with a vote of thanks by the School Principal cum Cluster Head & A.R.O. Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur Sidhu. Addressing the delegates, she expressed her desire and also hoped that they must make it sure to share the knowledge gained through the workshop with the students in their respective schools. It is then only that the purpose behind conducting these workshops can be fulfilled.
