Parliament House is the temple of democracy and the young parliamentarians on the campus of DAV Public School BRS Nagar today, on the Constitution Day of the country discussed in detail on ‘The Situation of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh’ after abrogation of Article 370. The day began with the pledge taken by the Principal, Staff and the students to abide by the principles of Constitution. Eighty students of classes VI to XII donned the roles of experienced leaders and statesmen of different political parties and they expressed their views with confidence. It was a healthy discussion where each one voiced his concern for the peace and upliftment of these states that have long been deprived of human rights and development. The representatives asserted their hope for the growth of these states after normalcy has returned. The views and assertiveness with which the delegates put forth their ideas and philosophy invited appreciation from the Principal and the Staff. Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu lauded the efforts of the young participants and their mentors on organizing this event that provided suitable platform to the future leaders of the nation to discuss a vital issue of the country that has caught International attention and coaxed the students to grab such opportunities to show their mettle and expertise on the burning issues.
