Cultural diversity is the forte of India and school aims to apprise its students of different colours and shades of different states.
Today the students and teachers had vivid glimpses of Haryanvi Culture through the school stage with the Programme titled ‘Virasat-E-Sangam’, Haryana where Padam Bhushan Dr. S.S. Johl, Vice Chairman of LMC and C.A. Mr. Ravi Kant Gupta were the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour respectively.
The programme began with the formal lamp lighting ceremony, invoking the blessings of Almighty. The cultural bonanza began with the soulful Folk Song followed by ‘Dhamaal’a dance performance by boys that brought their energy and synchronisation to the stage. The dance performances on the stage set it on fire and entertained the spectators to the core. The story of women empowerment through choreography gave a glimpse of changing India and conveyed the message that woman is no less than her counterpart.
The Chief Guest in his address appreciated the efforts put in by the school in bringing national integration and giving a chance to blend different cultures into ours to emerge as Indians responsible for the growth of our peaceful and tolerant nation.
Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu lauded the efforts put in by the students and teachers for putting up a wonderful show and stressed on the need to blend into one India for development of all.
