Children’s Day is the day dedicated to festivities for children and school did its best to make the children enjoy their day to the fullest. The children came dressed in colourful attires and participated in several activities arranged by the school to add to the fun quotient.
The Pre-Primary wing of the school had a gala time on the jumping jack specially arranged for them. The students of primary wing participated in physical fitness exercises like Yoga, Aerobics along with trying their hands in art and craft to exhibit their creativity. Students of classes VI & VII had a roaring time in the ground participating in the traditional games like Chain, Kho-Kho and Kabbadi to name a few.
A special screening of the movie Hichki kept the students captivated in the auditorium who enjoyed the fine performances of the actors and got a lesson to turn their weaknesses into strengths instead of getting cowed down by the handicaps. The senior secondary wing put forth their talent by enthralling the audience with their soulful performances.
Apart from this, the students of ‘Legal Literacy Club’ interacted with underprivileged children residing in the slum at Humbran Road as a part of Social Outreach Programme. During this interaction, they not only got to know the problems faced by them but also thanked God for being blessed by all ways by Lord Almighty.
Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu in her address paid rich tributes to the architect of modern India Chacha Nehru and prayed for the successful lives of the children while motivating them for hard work that would reap rich dividends for them.
