Keeping in mind, the significance of legal literacy for each citizen of the society, the Legal Literacy Club of the school invited Advocate Mr. Hariom Jindal, a social activist who has been devoting his life to the upliftment of downtrodden children.

He enlightened the students about the need to educate the underprivileged children residing in slum areas and made them aware about the ways and means to transform our society. He stressed upon the need of making them aware about their basic rights and the true meaning of democracy. He also spoke on the major challenges, the country is facing such as ignorance, corruption, poverty and illiteracy. He introduced his book ‘Empowerment Through Education’ to the students, which would help students understand the real meaning of democracy and its working. He also motivated and guided the students to be a part of his ongoing project in the slum areas in which interactive sessions are held with young slum dwellers.
