To commemorate 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi ji, students of class-I celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with enthusiasm. Students came dressed up as Gandhi ji and poems and bhajans were recited on themes : truth, non violence and patriotism. Various facets of Mahatma Gandhi ji’s life like historical Dandi March, Quit India Movement etc. were displayed through tableaux. Students were taught about life of Mahatma Gandhi ji and the values he stood for.
Besides, an Inter house Quiz and Stamp Designing Competitions were organised for the students of classes VI to XII. Students of 4 houses participated in the competitions. The result for the same are as follows:
