Rajasthan is the land of braves and rich cultural heritage. The vibrance of life of the people of Rajasthan touches everyone irrespective of state and country. Rajasthani culture was brought alive on the stage of DAV Public School, BRS Nagar through Virasat-E-Rajasthan presented by the students of the school.

Chancellor, Central University Padma Bushan Dr. S.S. Johl Ji was the Chief Guest of the function and Mr. Rakesh Ji Jain, member of School LMC graced the occasion with his presence. Parents of the students of the school with their roots in Rajasthan were the Guests of Honour. The Guests of the day were accorded a warm welcome on their arrival and function started with invocation of Lord Shiva through Shiva Stuti for the well-being of all and world safety. The colourful presentation of Tera Taali Dance performance by the damsels of the school elegantly carrying the traditional Rajasthani attire. The Ghoomar dance made the spectators sit on the edge of their seats on account of the energy, synchronisation and poise with which they put the stage on fire. 
Holi the festival of colours is celebrated with zeal in India and Rajasthan is known for the vibrant Holi celebrations and the students transported everyone to the Falgun month and soaked them in the colourful showers of fragrant petals to feel the gaiety of the festival. 
The Chief Guest appreciated the zeal of the students and teachers and said that celebration of different cultures will not only broaden their horizon but also usher in an era of peace and integrity. The Guests of Honour were thankful as the function transported them to their birth place and feel the warmth of motherland. 
Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu was all praise for the efforts put in by one and all associated with the function and hoped that these cultural presentations would bind the people of India in a betterway for growth and prosperity.
