Graduating from one class to another is the most awaited moment by every student. DAV BRS Nagar Ludhiana today organised the graduation ceremony for students of class-II

Padma Bhushan Dr. S.S. Johl, Chancellor Central University, Punjab, was the Chief Guest. The event began with a formal lamp lighting ceremony followed by an invocation to God through ‘Ganesh Vandana’. A colourful cultural programme presented by the students thereafter enthralled the audience. Childhood is the golden period of one’s life and this was beautifully portrayed through a melodious song.

A well synchronized choreography on child labour and ‘Girl child’ touched the hearts of the audience. Apart from this students also presented choreography on socially relevant issues like saving water, preserving environment and saying ‘no’ to plastics. A small skit recognizing the hard work of the saviors of our nation left anyone teary eyed.

It was a visual treat to watch the young exuberant students attired in formal gowns receiving certificates of promotion along with the trophies in recognition of their achievements from the hands of Chief Guest.

The Chief Guest Dr. S.S. Johl, in his address congratulated the students for this great achievement & wished them good luck in their lives.

Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu appreciated the efforts put in by the teachers and the students for making this moment a memorable one. She exhorted the students to keep their humanity intact while scaling greater heights.
