The 3^rd edition of mock parliament was held at D.A.V. Public School B.R.S. Nagar, Ludhiana today. Students from classes 8^th to 11^th played roles of politicians, leader and statesmen from different parties across the political spectrum and expressed their views on 'Applying Uniform Civil Code throughout the territory of India including J and K’ and Feasibility of simultaneous Elections of Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies’ throughout the territory of India. Heated discussions and debates were witnessed as students put forward their opinions for and against the motions. 'Expressions such as these, not only hone the oratory skills but also inculcate assertiveness and awareness about parliamentary proceedings among students 'opined Principal Ms. J.K.Sidhu, while appreciating the level of discussions on the topics that concern one and all.
