Annual Prize Distribution Function was held in DAV Public School, BRS Nagar. Vice Chancellor of DAV University, Jalandhar, Sh. R.K. Mahajan was the Chief Guest of the day, while the Chancellor of Central University of Punjab Dr. S.S. Johl presided over the function. Principal of the school read out the Annual Report of the School that highlighted the achievements of the students in academics, co-curricular activities and sports.

The cultural Programme titled ‘Wheel of Life’ based on the poem ‘Seven Ages’ written by Shakespeare highlighted the journey of our lives beautifully. The lyrical dance and drama touched the chords of each heart.  The present day issues of brain drain, empty nest syndrome were tackled effectively in the program that gave the message that the children should be given the wings to fly and explore the endless possibilities open to them.

Total 359 students received awards for academic excellence and commendable performance in co-curricular activities and sports events. Chief Guest R.K. Mahajan in his address lauded the efforts put in by the school to create a benchmark. He asked the students to love life to the fullest and remain undeterred by ups and downs, which are the part and parcel of our lives. He motivated the students to aim for excellence in their chosen field of studies and work.

Regional Officer Mrs. P.P. Sharma proposed the vote of thanks and exhorted the staff and the student to continue the hard work and stay at the top.

Principal J.K. Sidhu thanked one and all for their tireless contribution in the journey of success of the school. The smile of the prize winners added luster to the function and motivated others to put their best foot forward to stand out in the crowd.
