DAV Public School, BRS Nagar in collaboration with Scholastic India Pvt. Ltd. conducted 'One Nation Reading Together' activity to reaffirm its commitment to bring the joy of reading to children all over the country.

To quote the words of Swami Vivekananda, “A nation  is advanced in proportion to education and intelligence spread amongst the masses” into practice, students from Pre-KG to XII,  all teaching, administrative, support staff and the principal devoted their time to reading from 12 noon – 12:30 pm. It was a feast for the eyes to see tiny tots also deeply engrossed in reading. There was no movement on the campus because the minds were busy absorbing knowledge from the books in hand. This activity will go a long way in inculcating reading habits amongst students and in waning them from the gadgets and gizmoz.

Principal J.K. Sidhu felt that such activities will not only widen the horizon of the students but also keep them away from distractive activities.
