DAVians reaped a rich haul of prizes in UN Replica, Punjab 2018, organised by Mr. T.P. Sreenivasan, the retired Ambassador of India to United Nations in collaboration with Sat Paul Mittal School from 3^rd to 5^th August 2018.  Total 23 schools from all over the country participated in the event where around 200 delegates deliberated on topics of global concern. Participation of two international delegates took the discussion beyond the frontiers to make it a global meet in the real spirit.

A team of around 20 delegates of school participated in the meet and shared their views on diverse issues to win rich haul of awards for their alma mater. The school won 3 prizes in United Nation General Assembly. 2 High commendations as Delegation of USA and France in addition to winning the Best School Delegation Award. They drove home their points on account of their in-depth knowledge on the subject and their oratory skills.

The team was given a rousing welcome in the school today. Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu, congratulated the school team and said that knowledge is power and platform like these open plethora of opportunities for students to discuss, debate and provide solutions to real life problem. She encouraged the students to participate in these events to gain confidence and provide viable solutions to the global problems.
