Knitting is a canvas for creative souls. Apart from enhancing creative skill, hand knitting helps in improving concentration, patience and mental alertness among children. With a purpose to encourage the students to develop their interest in this art, “Vardhman Textiles Ltd.” had organized “knit bombing competition’’ in the school in which students from V to X classes participated. Total 37 schools took part in the event and 42 students of our school had bagged first prize. Today Sr. Kulwinder Singh, Director-Hemkunt consultants was invited to the school to felicitate those children. Certificates and wool packs were given to the participants.

Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu appreciated the endeavour of the students and said that sincere efforts must be made in order to revive this creative art.
