India is a land of festivals and Dussehra marks victory of good over evil. The students of class I and II celebrated Dussehra with zeal and enthusiasm. The students came dressed up as Lord Rama, Lakshman, Sita, Ravana, Meghanath and Hanuman etc. and depicted several scenes from Ramayana. Tableaux presented by the students showcased Lord Rama in Gurukul, Rama-Sita Vivah, Rama going to exile, Sita Haran, Mata Sita in Ashok Vatika, fight between Rama and Ravana, Ravana Vadh and Ram Darbar etc. The celebration started with the singing of hymns. It was the feast for the eyes to see young Ramas and Sitas doing their roles to the perfection. The children gave the message of righteous deeds for happiness of all.
