DAVians Celebrated Independence Day with gusto

Independence day holds a special significance in the life of every Indian and every year all Indians are filled with special enthusiasm to contribute in style. The campus of DAV Public School , BRS Nagar was abuzz with activity and was decked up in Tricolour with Indian flag fluttering high.
Mrs Rajinder Kaur Narula , OSD to the President DAVCMC, NEW DELHI was the Chief Guest of the function and hoisted the National Flag to the rendition of the National Anthem. A colourful cultural programme soaked in patriotic fervour stole the hearts of the audience. The dance presentations on JAI HO and VANDE MATRAM filled people with reverence and pride for the motherland .The patriotism of the youngsters gave a hope of developed and prosperous India in the years to come.
Chief Guest of the function Mrs. Rajinder Kaur Narula while appreciating the efforts of the students under the guidance of their mentors coaxed them to dedicate their lives in the service of the motherland and encouraged them to safeguard the freedom earned at a huge cost by our forefathers. She also encouraged the students to be secular in their approach and respect all religions.
Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu , in her address highlighted the importance of being born in free India and exhorted one and all to be true and sincere citizens exhibiting devotion to diverse cultures and traditions of India.
