Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Hansraj ji was celebrated as Samarpan Diwas by Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha and DAV College Managing Committee at DAV School, Panipat. The event celebrated the contributions of Mahatma Hansraj ji a great visionary and a staunch arya samajist and also acknowledged the remarkable performance of the sportsperson of various DAV Institutions in the country in DAV National Sports. It was a great day for DAV BRS Nagar as 27 sportsperson of the school received honours for their spectacular performance in DAV National Sports.
27 Gold Medalists of the school in different sports like Handball, Basketball, Volleyball, Taekwondo, Swimming, Kabaddi and Badminton received cheques worth Rs 5100/-each.
Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu congratulated the students and emphasised that games and sports help students build self confidence and teach discipline that is an essential element to make mark in one’s chosen field. She also urged the students to strike a balance between sports and studies to ensure holistic growth.
