Empathy is the greatest virtue and if we join hands we can move the mountains. We are aware of the difficulties of the masses in war torn Syria and Palestine and the students of DAV BRS Nagar, slipped into the shoes of the common man in these countries to give a realistic portrayal of the uncertainties and hardships of their lives through a Play Titled “ Let's Walk Hand in Hand For Peace & Harmony on Land” under the project 'Solution through Discussion for World Peace'.
The global dimension to the activities of the school has widened the horizon of the school and Mr. Homam Taleb Omran from Syria, Ali Nahil from Maldives accompanied by Ms. Deepreet, PRO, PCTE, Ludhiana who presided over the event lauded this aspect of school curriculum The guests were really impressed by the true to life projection of the life of common man who suffers the most during trouble times. The students gave the message that discussion not war is the solution to the potent problems of the world.
The International Guests in their address highlighted the role of the youth in world peace. Mr. Homam categorically said that the aware and active youth can solve the major problems of the world to usher in an era of peace and harmony. Mr. Ali Nahil encouraged the students to continue with the good work.
Principal, Mrs. J.K. Sidhu in her address appreciated the endeavour of the students for creating a force against blood shed and war for progress of the society and expressed hoped that the youth will create a world of harmony and growth during their reign.
