DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana, achieved a remarkable feat by emerging as the Overall Champion at the prestigious Satyan Innovation Fest (SIF) 5.0, held from May 7 to 9, 2025, at Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana. The victory was crowned with a cash prize of ₹31,000/-, certificates of excellence, and gift hampers, affirming the school’s leadership in nurturing innovation and 21st-century skills.
SIF 5.0, powered by Whizrobo Pvt. Ltd., stood as a distinguished confluence of creativity, critical thinking, and futuristic vision. As a premier innovation platform, it championed the spirit of imagination, design synergy, and real-world problem-solving among young minds. Centered around the compelling theme, “Synergy of Design and Innovation,” the fest welcomed emerging innovators from Classes VIII to XII, offering them a transformative arena to ideate, invent, and inspire.
This mega event brought together over 200 students from 24 leading schools across the region, who competed in intellectually stimulating rounds based on three future-forward themes:
Green Tech Revolution – Pioneering eco-friendly and sustainable solutions.
AI for a Smarter World – Harnessing artificial intelligence to augment human capabilities.
Future of Mobility – Reimagining transportation through intelligent systems and automation.
Throughout the fest, the DAV team demonstrated exceptional synergy, technical acumen, and creative ingenuity. From building and racing robots in the adrenaline-filled Robo Race, uncovering digital vulnerabilities in the Ethical Hacking round, to presenting innovative startups via the Business Model Canvas and Elevator Pitch, they dominated each domain. Their brilliance continued in fast-paced challenges like Decode & Transform, Speedy Drawing, and Reveal AI Prompt, earning accolades from judges and peers alike.
A particularly thought-provoking highlight of the event was a panel discussion that inspired participants to view innovation as a force for societal transformation—not just profit. The discourse sparked deep introspection and encouraged students to align their ideas with a greater social purpose.
