A two-day Moral Education Training Workshop concluded today. There existed a unique charm and an environment of excitement in the school.
Sh. J.P.Shoor Ji, Director, PS-1, DAVCMC, New Delhi was the Chief Guest on the second day of the workshop. Also present on the occasion were Mr. Mohan Lal Sharma, President Arya Yuva Samaj, Punjab and Principal DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana and Principals of various DAV institutions.
The day started with ‘Hawan’ and recitation of ‘Mantras’. The Principal of the school, Mrs. J.K.Sidhu accorded a grand welcome to the guests of the day.
Internationally acclaimed philosopher, Dr. Vageesh Ji was the resource person of the day. He talked about rift created by man in the name of religion because man is adamant and considers himself to be superior. He asked the participants to go for self-analysis and realize the role assigned to each human during his stay on this earth and perform that role with honesty and patience for the betterment of the world. He said that we all are in pursuit of knowledge so it is our duty to assimilate facts and wisdom to be better individuals. Highlighting the relevance of Arya Samaj in present scenario, he said that the motto of Arya Samaj is to collect all good from all the religions for welfare of man because it is not a religion but an organization dedicated to elevation of mankind.
After spiritual discourse, the speaker held interactive session with the teachers wherein the teachers put forth their queries and got convincing replies.
The Principal of the school, Mrs. J.K.Sidhu thanked the guests of the day for sparing their valuable time from the busy schedule and said that such programme should be organised from time to time as they help in moral and spiritual growth of the teachers who are the path blazers of the country. The workshop concluded with the rendition of ‘Shanti Paath’.
