The school organised a talk on ‘Personal and Professional Development’ for the teachers on 12-05-2015. Dr. Davinderjit Singh, former Dean and Joint Director of Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur delivered the talk. He spoke on ‘Retuning our perceptions and attitudes for better life impacts’.

The lecture provided an insight into self-analysis. He emphasized to adopt a positive outlook towards life and shun negativity. He left the audience awestruck when said that ‘Happiness is self determination’ and daily decision’ and ‘Life is, how we take it.’ During his talk, he quoted various anecdotes to tell, how adverse the circumstances may be, one must not surrender but change one’s perception and attitude. Using power-point presentation effectively, Dr. Singh motivated the teachers to turn every set-back into ‘set-up’ and urged them not to carry the burden of pessimism with them. He exhorted the teachers to continuously correcting themselves i.e. changing the outlook. He said, “If you correct your diet, correct your thoughts, correct your earnings and correct your dealings, you are surely going to be a different person”.  The lecture was well received by one and all.

The Principal of the school, Mrs. J.K.Sidhu thanked the guest of the day and said that his talk would help the teachers to be strong leaders, creative innovators and different persons.
